Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences comments:
School of ICS ADD policy: The deadline to ADD a course is October 15, 2004 (end of THIRD Week). During the Fourth to Sixth Week of classes, instructors will only grant signature to add at their discretion. Please keep in mind that ADDs after the Third Week are reviewed carefully. After the Sixth Week, you will need the Dean's signature in addition to the instructor's signature. The Dean's signature may be obtained at the ICS Student Affairs Office.
School of ICS DROP policy: The deadline to DROP a course is October 8, 2004 (end of SECOND Week). During the Third to Sixth Week of classes, instructors will only grant signature to drop only under special circumstances. After the Sixth Week, you will need the Dean's signature in addition to the instructor's signature. The Dean's signature may be obtained at the ICS Student Affairs Office.
School of ICS CHANGE of GRADE OPTION Policy: The deadline to change GRADE OPTION in an ICS course is October 8, 2004 (end of Second Week). After the Sixth Week, you will need the Dean's signature in addition to the instructor's signature.
The Dean's signature may be obtained at the ICS Student Affairs Office. ICS STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICE is located in Building 313 on campus map. Unless otherwise posted, regular office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00a.m. to 12 noon and 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. and on Friday 9:00a.m. to 11a.m. & 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. Please read announcements posted on the door and on the USENET electronic bulletin board, ics.ugrad.
Warning: The School of ICS MAY DROP students from courses for which they have not satisfied prerequisites. If, after checking WebReg (before and after the adjustment period ends), you find you have been dropped, then you are encouraged to provide proof that you have met the prerequisites BEFORE enrolling in the course again. However, meeting the prerequisites does not guarantee students a space in the class.
