 School of Humanities comments: 
 The ADD/DROP POLICY for ALL courses in the SCHOOL OF HUMANITIES is that ADDS and DROPS must be effected PRIOR to the END of the SECOND WEEK OF CLASSES (January 21, 2005).

 NOTE: Satisfaction of the UC Entry-Level Writing Requirement (SUBJECT A) is prerequisite to ALL ENGLISH, COMPARATIVE LITERATURE, LITERARY JOURNALISM, and WRITING COURSES except COMP LIT 8, ENGLISH 6, 7, 8, WRITING 37, WRITING 39A, and WRITING 39A/PLUS. 
 NOTE: Students registered in any course offered by the department of English and Comparative Literature are expected to attend both the FIRST and SECOND CLASS MEETINGS of the course or they may be required to drop the course with a drop card.
