 School of Humanities comments: 
 THE ADD/DROP POLICY FOR ALL COURSES IN THE SCHOOL OF HUMANITIES IS THAT ADDS AND DROPS MUST BE EFFECTED PRIOR TO THE END OF THE SECOND WEEK OF CLASSES (October 7, 2005). 
 Note: A lab fee may be assessed for those courses using the Humanities computer labs for class sessions. 
 NOTE: Enrollment in lecture and discussion, lecture and studio, lecture and lab, lecture and studio and discussion, etc. is required for all courses offered by the School of Humanities, as well as any courses cross-listed with a Humanities offering. 
 NOTE: For all non-EAD (electronic add/drop) courses in the School of Humanities, the waitlist for each course is active through the end of the WebReg adjustment period only (September 21, 2005 at 5:00 p.m.). Once instruction begins (September 23, 2005), all adds and drops are subject to the policy of each instructor. 
 NOTE: Adds, drops and grade/unit changes (all non-EAD courses only) processed within the first two weeks of each quarter via the add/drop/change card require the signature of the instructor. The only exception to this policy is for Humanities Core (course codes 29000-29138). All enrollment changes for Humanities Core are signed in their departmental office, HIB 185.

 Korean course numbers 1 - 3:
 
 NOTE: A student enrolled in any section of Korean 1A, 2A, or 3A MUST attend the FIRST AND SECOND class meetings of the course or will be required to drop the course with a drop card. 
 NOTE: Continuing students intending to enroll in a Korean language class for the first time in fall 2005, MUST take a placement test. Testing will be offered Tuesday, May 24, 2005. Students may register for this exam with the Testing Office through their web site, http://www.testingoffice.uci.edu. For additional information, contact the Testing Office at testoff@uci.edu or call 949-824-6207. Bring the test result with you to the Faculty Oral Interview offered May 25-26, 2005 between 10:00 a.m. and 11:50 a.m., in HIB 448. Placement information and authorization codes will be issued during the interview. 
 NOTE: Incoming freshmen and transfer students to UCI intending to enroll in a Korean language class in fall 2005, may access the Testing Office through their web site, http://www.testingoffice.uci.edu, or refer to the Testing Office flyer you received for in May (freshmen) or June (transfers) for details about registration and dates of placement tests. For additional information, please E-mail the Testing Office at testoff@uci.edu, or call 949-824-6207. The Faculty Oral Interview for incoming students will be September 21-22, 2005, between 10 a.m. and 12 noon., in HIB 448.
