TO ENROLL IN A KOREAN LANGUAGE CLASS:

Continuing students intending to enroll in a Korean language class for the first time in fall 2011, MUST take a placement test. Testing will be offered on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Students may register for this exam with the Testing Center through their web site, http://www.testingcenter.uci.edu. For additional information, contact the Testing Center at testcenter@uci.edu or call (949) 824-6207. Bring the test result with you to the Faculty Oral Interview offered Thursday, May 19, 2011 between 9:00a.m. and 11:00, in HIB 448. Placement information and authorization codes will be issued during the interview.

Incoming freshmen and transfer students wanting to enroll in a Korean language class in fall 2011, may access the Testing Center through their website, http://www.testingcenter.uci.edu for details about registration and dates of placement tests. The Faculty Oral Interview for incoming students will be September 19-21, 2011 between 10:00 and noon in HIB 448.

Continuing students who wish to enroll in Korean 2A or 3A in fall 2011 will be issued an authorization code in class. Enrollment preference will be given to students who are completing Korean 1C or 2C in spring 2011.

Any student enrolled in any section of Korean 1A, 2A, or 3A MUST attend the FIRST AND SECOND class meetings or will be required to drop the course.
