Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences comments: The School of ICS has a strict add/drop/change policy. DROP: The deadline to drop courses is the end of Week 2 by 5:00PM. CHANGE: The deadline to change grade option or variable units is the end of Week 2 by 5:00PM. ADD: The deadline to add courses is the end of Week 3 by 5:00PM. The School WILL DROP students from courses for which they have not satisfied the prerequisites. If you find you have been dropped from a course, please check the course catalogue for prerequisites and contact the ICS Student Affairs Office (ICS 352) BEFORE enrolling in the course again. Meeting the prerequisites does not guarantee a space in the class. If you meet the course prerequisite by AP exam or transfer course credit, go to www.ics.uci.edu/ugrad/resources/index.php to submit a prerequisite clearing request. Academic Counselors will clear students on a first come, first served basis. Please note some courses have additional comments below. |

Networked Systems department comments: Networked Systems is a joint degree program between Information and Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Please visit http://www.networkedsystems.uci.edu for more information. Undergraduate students, with authorization, may enroll in graduate level courses. No graduate course taken as an undergraduate will count toward a graduate degree program. |
