On-Module Times
The following are considered on-module times for 3 or 4 unit courses. Following this schedule maximizes room utilization in the General Assignment Classrooms. Courses that follow the on-module times are assigned rooms before courses that do not follow this format. Five unit language courses have their own on-module times.

Regular academic classes end no later than 9:50 p.m. With the increase in student enrollment, some departments now offer courses on Saturdays and Sundays, as needed.
Off-Module Times
Courses that do not follow the pattern of on-module times are considered off-module. Although the University Registrar recognizes the desire to schedule courses at off-module times, first priority in General Assignment Classrooms goes to on-module courses. The University Registrar schedules off-module courses as time and space permits. Most off-module courses are scheduled in the smaller capacity rooms and department-controlled locations. If they are scheduled in General Assignment Classrooms, they are more likely to be scheduled at less popular times.
