Students approved for Reduced Fee Part-Time status pay 50% of Tuition and, if applicable, 50% of Nonresident Supplemental Tuition and/or Professional Degree Supplemental Tuition.

† Incoming graduate students enrolled in the Summer Competitive Edge program starting on 7/31/23 will pay a prorated GSHIP premium of $763.19 for coverage from 7/31/23 through 9/24/23 in addition to the fall premium of $1,839.62. The Summer 2023 GSHIP premium includes health insurance premium of $739.75, broker fee of $0.42 and SHC administrative fee of $23.02. Incoming Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) students attending Summer 2023 (enrolling in June 2023) will pay a prorated summer GSHIP premium of $1,335.59 for coverage from 6/19/23 through 9/24/23 in addition to the fall premium of $1,839.62. The MAT Summer 2023 GSHIP premium includes health insurance premium of $1,294.58, broker fee of $0.74 and SHC administrative fee of $40.27.
‡ The UC Graduate and Professional Council fee is a non-mandatory fee that graduate students are assessed
during the fall, winter and spring terms to support the systemwide UC Student Association. Students may elect to
opt-out and once the opt-out is elected students will not be charged the fee unless they change their election for a
later term.
