The following guidelines are used to determine examination times and rooms.
- Classes meeting Tu, MTu, TuW, or TuF will follow the schedule for TuTh classes.
- Classes meeting M, MW, MF, or WF, will follow the schedule for MWF classes.
- Classes meeting MTuWTh or MTuWThF that are not language classes will follow the schedule for TuTh classes.
- Final exams listed as TBA are to be determined by the instructor. Rooms,
if needed, may be requested from the Registrar's Office by the department
Schedule of Classes Coordinator for the course after Monday of the fourth
week of classes.
- Examinations for classes which meet one day per week or at irregular
times will be scheduled by the Registrar's Office. Priority for time and
room assignments is based on the sequence of requests from departments.
- Examinations for zero-unit classes can be scheduled by the Registrar’s Office by request.
Requests should be submitted after Monday of the fourth week of classes.
- Examinations for classes comprised of lecture and discussion sections
will be determined by the regular meeting time and room of the lecture.
- Examinations will be held in the same room used for class meetings
during the quarter. Additional rooms, if needed, may be requested from the
Registrar's Office by the department Schedule of Classes Coordinator for the
course. These rooms will be announced to the class by the instructor prior
to the examination time.
- Requests for final exam rooms may be made after Monday of the fourth week of classes.
In cases where the final examination time and room cannot be
determined from the above guidelines, contact the Registrar's Office after
Monday of the fourth week of classes.
