Veterans’ Educational Benefits: If you are or will be utilizing veterans’ educational benefits to fund your degree, please contact the School Certifying Official (SCO) at UCI in the Veteran Benefits Office for information regarding whether the program fee is covered or includes components that are not covered.
The SCO can provide guidance on how program fees are classified for the purposes of benefits administered by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including whether program fees include components that may not be covered. Program fees listed in this schedule represent required tuition and mandatory program charges unless otherwise specified. Any non-mandatory or non-VA-covered expenses included as part of a program offering will be separately identified, as applicable. These expenses may include, but are not limited to, optional activities, travel, lodging, meals, parking, transportation, or other personal expenses. Such costs are not considered eligible VA-covered charges unless determined otherwise by the VA. Prospective and current students are encouraged to consult with the SCO early in the application or enrollment process to better understand their VA benefit eligibility, certification requirements, and applicable coverage.
